DokterBan is tire management consulting company that provide: Tire Management Center ( TMC) and Tire Mobile Service ( TMS) . The objectives are to achieve maximum cost efficiency and work effectiveness. DokterBan, subsidiary brand of PT PT. De Vanir Source Indonesia, was founded on 9th April 2008. In the first stage, we have signed a cooperation contract for tire management with two Pertamina affiliates, PT. Elnusa Petrofin and PT. Patra Niaga.
We aims in controlling tire use appropriately or effectively so that will result an efficiency on the tire use. This efficiency will automatically make some profit for the company. DokterBan is a Tyre Management to be the first and the only tire management in Indonesia, and to be a “ Tire Specialist” which always preserves the principle and conviction “ Optimizing Is Nothing Without Care” .
In short, the activity of tire management for effectiveness and efficiency is started at effective tire using. To create an effective tire using, three important steps on the following are badly needed:
1. Selection of the proper tire, the tire to be used must fit to the type of vehicle and to the use of the vehicle.
2. Proper tire use, monitoring on drivers, mechanics and related workers so that they have capabilities and knowledge on how to use the vehicles appropriately and this will preserve the length of the tire use.
3. Continuous-Preventive Maintenance, carrying out regular checking, treatment and maintenance, and making notes of replacement and treatment.
If the three steps are well done, the expected efficiency level in the tire management will certainly achieved, and this will automatically make cost effectiveness.
